Technique & Setups
-
Studio & On-Location: In the studio or directly on-site with you.
-
Maximum Sharpness: Single shot or Focus Stacking for consistently sharp results.
-
Lighting: Studio flashes or daylight panel lights; controlled reflections instead of randomness.
-
Tethered Shooting: Live evaluation on the monitor, immediate corrections.
-
Form/Light Control: Flags, scrims, reflectors – avoid reflections or design them intentionally.
-
Surfaces: matte, high-gloss, mirror effects; light tent, backgrounds, cardboard.
-
Fixation: Product putty and holders for perfect alignment.
-
Filter Technology: Cross-polarization (polarizing filter) for critical surfaces, ND filters if needed.
Retouching & Output
-
Digital Cleaning: Remove dust, scratches, production marks.
-
Clipping Path: clean path or solid background (white, grey, custom).
-
Shadow Management: no, artificial or realistic shadow – suitable for use.
-
File Formats: PNG, JPG, TIFF or PSD – with layers and defined bit depth upon request.
Sizes & Shooting Location
-
Up to approx. 1 m edge length: ideal in the product studio.
-
Large objects (e.g., vehicles, assemblies): if possible on-site with a mobile setup.
Effort & Calculation
The price depends primarily on:
-
Single shot vs. Focus Stacking
-
Surface: simple matte vs. reflective/mirroring
-
Preparation effort: cleaning, setup, alignment
-
Clipping: path, background, shadow type (none/artificial/real)
-
Output & Formats: PNG/JPG/TIFF/PSD, bit depth, layers
-
Additional work: e.g., composings or series with replication requirements
