Architectural Photography

Architectural and interior shots thrive on clear lines, straight perspectives, and a clean visual impact. A calm composition, precise alignment, and as much sharpness as possible throughout the motif are important. Therefore, I usually work with a tripod, natural light, and carefully chosen perspectives.

For many motifs, single shots or targeted panoramas are completely sufficient. For more complex rooms, very tight situations, or 360° shots, additional special technology is used so that the images can be cleanly assembled.

In addition to overall views, details are often also in demand: materials, furniture, fixtures, surfaces, or special design elements. The biggest challenges are shadows, reflections, and backlighting. Many problems can be avoided during the shoot if you work carefully and keep the entire process in mind. What cannot be solved on site can later be professionally retouched or optimized.

The photography of architecture is a passion of mine; it requires geometric understanding and a great love for detail. Color accuracy, but also playing with light and shadow, are particularly important here.
