Alztalhonig - Müller Beekeeping
Alztalhonig is a beekeeping business from Tann, run part-time by Christian and Christine Müller as a family enterprise. They maintain approximately 40 bee colonies at various locations and are also the castle beekeepers for the city of Burghausen, among other roles.
In addition to the Burghausen Castle Honey, they also produce many other honey products. Their various mead varieties have already received numerous international awards, and they are also committed to alternative forms of beekeeping and to wild bees.
With their bee barge, based on the Top-Bar-Hive principle, they also produce pressed honey and share their knowledge in training courses and lectures.
